#5 TRUST - The Universe Has Your Back!

In today’s episode, we’re going to talk about the Quantum Leap Readiness principle #5 - Trust! 

Are you ready to take your business to the next level, are you ready to step into a bigger version of yourself? If you said YES, one of the QLR principles required is Trust - trust that if you leap - the Universe has the net!

Trust that you are already the leader you imagine yourself to be and the people you are meant to lead will follow.

Trust ~ The Universe Has Your Back

A horse fully trusts its instincts and the instincts of the herd. They navigate their world by reading energy and intentions from each other and their environment. And only then do they respond. They do not second guess if they are right or wrong or wonder if God wants them to go a different direction. They trust one another and themselves to demonstrate the different leadership skills required to navigate a myriad of circumstances.

You may be the chief, cook and bottle washer in your own young business right now. It can feel very lonely as you serve the clients you love and still have to tend to the ‘busy-ness’ of paperwork, networking, marketing, family and barn chores. 

This feeling of isolation can lead us away from the Universal Source of support (the herd consciousness) that is available at all times. This is the Source that inspired us to serve from our soul in the first place! This is the Source that has asked us to trust our connection, to leap out in front and become the leader of the herd we are meant to serve. 

I worked with a woman recently who is the leader of a large team of people within a global organization. She recognized that she was bogged down in micro-managing her team and constantly checking on whether or not they were doing their jobs.

It was no surprise that during a simple leading exercise that her horse refused to go with her. She had a destination identified in the arena, however, on her way there she never took her eyes off the horse. They didn’t get very far!

We’ll call her Patricia (not her real name). My advice to her was, “Patricia, look where you want to go and go there.” She said Ok yet continued to look at the horse who was not budging. I asked her 3 more times to look where she was going and she continued to look at the horse who was not moving. After the third time I asked her to look where she was going she snapped at me and said, “I know, I heard you already!” 

I started laughing and said “Great! When are you going to do it?”

That’s when she realized that even though she heard me and she understood what I was saying, she was so fixated on whether or not the horse would do what she thought he was ‘supposed’ to do that she was not being the leader he needed her to be!

Fortunately, she laughed at her self. When she finally turned to look where she was going the horse willingly went with her on a nice loose lead line.

Patricia needed to trust that the ‘herd’, her team was capable of following through on her lead.

As leaders of our own business, you have to Trust that you are already the leader you imagine yourself to be and the people you are meant to lead will follow.

The Universe/Source/God has asked you to take this leap. You said ‘Yes’.

Trust your instincts and your connection to Source and your herd will follow!
